Headache, chronic pain and hyper-mobility specialist Osteopath

ACC provider

Rachels interest in Osteopathy came from living an active life and occasionally being the patient as a result.  The principles and methods of Osteopathy are in line with her own philosophies on health and well-being and this is reflected in the way she treats her patients.  She enjoys getting to know her patients, listening to them and hearing what they need from her in order to individualise their treatment plan. Every person is unique which allows her to tailor treatment to their specific needs, whether it be gentle, more subtle techniques or stronger structural techniques.  Her main goal is to ensure that you get going again and perform what you love to do as optimally as possible.

Rachel has a particular interest in hypermobile and chronic-pain patients such that her Master’s thesis was on Generalised Joint Hypermobility which gave her greater insight into how she can help patients manage their symptoms.  As a hypermobile person herself, she understand its implications on day-to-day life as well as its association with chronic widespread pain.

When Rachel is not in the clinic she is out with her dog.  She likes to keep fit and active and also enjoy a good Netflix session and taking time to herself. She believes everything around us influences our well-being and little changes and routines can make such a difference.

She enjoys treating patients of all ages, backgrounds, shapes and sizes and lifestyles and looks forward to meeting you.
