At the Body Clinic, your Osteopath will assess your injury and decide if further investigations/referral is required. If assessment identifies that it is an easily treated problem, it is likely that treatment will consist of work through the entire lower extremity and lower back. This is because the lower extremity works as a unit and often something not working in one part of the body will cause compensations in other areas. For example, a problem in the ankle could be caused from an imbalance in the hip/pelvis and therefore the entire area may need to be treated to fix the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms.
