At the Body Clinic, your Osteopath will assess your injury and decide if further investigations/referral is required. If assessment identifies that it is a problem we can help with, it is likely that treatment will consist of work through the area with the problem, as well as the areas surrounding. This is because the upper body works as a unit and often something not working in one part of the body will cause compensations in other areas. For example, a problem in the hand may be coming from compressed nerves in the neck. Therefore without treatment in the neck, the problem may not go away.
